    MEDICO LEGAL EXPERIENCE

I have been providing expert witness medico-legal reports for over 20 years and have prepared over 2000 Court reports covering every aspect of law and more or less every conceivable type of case.

These include Personal Injury reports to complex child care cases including sexual and physical abuse, attachment, contact and custody disputes, behavioural disorders such as ADHD, Autism as well as a whole range of criminal cases such as fitness to plead, risk assessment, pre-sentencing reports, assault and murder cases.

I am frequently asked to prepare expert reports in highly dynamic and complex family cases by CAFCASS officers and local authorities across the country.

I prefer to interview families in their own homes when this is possible.

I will usually prepare a report within two to three weeks from client appointment as I understand the impact of long delays or waiting times can have on clients and their families and other parties such as local authorities, foster parents, youth detention centres.

I accept work which is Legal Aid funded and also privately funded.

I often carry out paper reports and ABE reports for the Courts.
